Support the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Breeding Project

This is an opportunity for you to be involved in a positive social and ecological project. Your contribution will have a favourable impact on our planet and specifically the Succulent Karoo Biodiversity Hotspot.

The project’s relatively high profile nature and its feel-good media appeal is regularly used as an example of how to farm with nature.

Anatolian Shepherd Dog

Our expenses include: veterinary fees, dog food, collars and transportation of pups to the fairly widely distributed farms to deliver them and then later to check up on the puppies.

We are currently in need of corporate and/or personal sponsorship, as our previous sponsors, Conservation International, do not have sufficient funds to continue to fund the breeding project.

Most of our dogs are placed with subsistence farmers who cannot afford to pay for a puppy and its training and they even struggle with its upkeep. Therefore, we need you, the caring public and private industry, to help by adopting one or more of these very special working dogs.

Your company can become a gaurdian of the Namaqua Park Anatolian Shepherd Dog Breeding Project by providing corporate sponsorship. This feel good media story has a relatively high profile and is regularly used as an example of ‘how to farm with nature’. Fufill your company’s corporate social responsilbility by supporting our enevour to protect the Namaqua biosphere and sustain a positive environmental heritage for generations to come.

Depending on the nature of the sponsorship provided, you may be entitled to used the Namaqua Park Anatolian Shepherd Dog Breeding Project branding on you products or promotional material. In addition:

• The name and logo of your company will be listed on this web site and this can be linked to   your own web site.

• A nominee from your company will be invited to come and spend a night free of charge in the Namaqua National Park, where he/she will be able to visit the kennels, meet some of the dogs and learn more about the Anatolian Shapherds.
